NJHA / GYNHA Experience
The AMS partnership with NJHA began in 1999. This resulted in the first large scale Medicare gainsharing demonstration project in 2009 with 12 NJ hospitals. The NJ program was expanded in 2013 to include 23 hospitals as part of the BPCI Model 1 initiative. The GNYHA partnership for commercial gainsharing began in 2011 and has 14 hospital participating with additional hospitals being added each quarter.
